We love a good brand war. And of course, what’s better than Coke and Pepsi battling it out in Coke’s hometown? Klaire is loving that Coke stands true to who they are through the whole ordeal, and better yet, it looks like they’re even getting some free press from their own rival. Check out the rivalry between these two brands here.

Speaking of Pepsi, Sammie is loving their commercial for Sunday’s Big Game that was already teased out. “Even though I love Coca-Cola, I’m really digging Pepsi’s latest commercial. It’s fun, it’s quirky, and Steve Carell is in it. How can you not love it?”

Bonnie is digging an interview that AdAge did with the CEO of Barstool Sports. “It’s really reflective of how brands are often becoming just as much a lifestyle to their audience – and just how important it is to know your fan base & disregard the people that shame the brand without even knowing its voice & feel.”

Her favorite excerpt from the article: “Barstool has evolved and changed a lot in the last two-and-a-half, three years. I would argue that we’re less brash than people think. Yes, there are takes that people don’t agree with, that people think are right up at the tiptoe of the line.”

Whatever readers land on the debate over Barstool’s tone, Nardini says the brand knows what it is and knows what the audience wants. Check out the full interview here.
